about

According to the Roman poet Ovid, Medusa was once a beautiful maiden who was seduced by Neptune, the god of the sea. Upon discovering this, the goddess of wisdom Minerva punished Medusa by transforming her hair into snakes.

From then on she lived in exile, forever viewed as a beast for man to hunt down and kill.

This is The Tragedy of Medusa.
